YWAM COS

We arrived at Caleb and Katie's on Friday night after Lydia's graduation celebration.  Katie and Ezekiel were in Hawaii, but Caleb, Silas, Vera, and Liberty were waiting up for us.  The summer night, warm with the fragrance of sweet dry trees and grasses, ushered us in into their beautiful home washed in soft light and candles burning.  It was a delight to be with family, home away from home.

Saturday, Caleb took us to the rodeo!  We celebrated Marshal's birthday with rodeo and steak house dinner.  We toured the YWAM base before completing the day with Ulla's birthday cake, thanks to Katie baking the layers and having all the fixings!

Old hotel I'd seen in photos!

Waiting for an entrance card.

The kinder class planted a garden.

Well thought out and decorated spaces.

Admiring Caleb's creative touches in the refurbishment with paned French doors and planked wall coverings.

Hall to the Nations!

Caleb was resurfacing the swimming pool when Marshal and Lydia stopped by in June.  Pool in use!

Who knew this girl would be back with her feet on this pavement before long?!

Ping pong play offs in the extended ballroom.  I even played a round with Marshal and won!

Touring a YWAM base stirred that part of me that longs for discipleship focus and community living with people of one passion - to know God and make Him known!
