Staycation

Trying to make the most of our time with Lydia and Gabe both home, took the week off between Christmas and New Year's.  Puzzles, Hand and Foot, Settlers of Catan, Rummikub, and Quirkle.

Sunday, Christmas Eve and Monday, Christmas Morning

Christmas Snow

We had a beautiful Christmas Eve Candlelight service at Jonah in the morning.  Monte directed a large Christmas Choir and Linda directed the youth orchestra.  When the service closed, a soft snow fell.

Christmas Pajamas!

Even Grammy got a new gown.

December Birthday

Mom's 79th Birthday
I enjoy hosting Mom's birthday celebration.  The house was full and cozy.  I made soups and chili on the cookstove.  Lydia is home!  She made rum cake, ginger bread, and Moravian ginger cookies for dessert.

We love you Mom and Grammy!!

December 1st Snow

The snow was lovely, and I let Finney romp, run, and roll for hours in the field.  I stood out in the flurries and sunshine with him, catching up on phone conversations and running with Finn.

See Finney?

Group Call

Gabe orchestrated a family call!  Many of us picked up from Montana, Colorado, and Trout Lake.
