All Lovin' Lydia

50 years

Dad and Mom honeymooned at the beach in 1969.  Fifty years later they "anniversaried" at the beach with all their children!

Mom (Grammy's) beach tradition, cold crab in the shell with a little mayonnaise and lemon, sourdough bread, and green salad.  For All!

12 children and 26 grands under one roof.  Cracking crabs on newspaper.

Memory Maker Box and Ulla Cake
Katie and Janelle make the poignant moments happen.  Everyone, oldest and youngest, brought home a momento from the beach and presented it with a connection to a special memory, appreciation, or honoring word to Dad and Mom.  Sierra garnished the celebratory cake.

Who would have dreamed of all this?
