Gabe's Chicks

Gabe began turning the family room into a brooder last week.  He dreamed up his perfect brood, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 1 Barred Rock, 1 Rhode Island Red, and a Sussex.  Guess what?  The local farm store ordered precisely those select breeds for Friday, the 27th February.  We got there early enough to lay our claim on some and bring ours home after going out to breakfast at Tweets and picking up some Scratch and Peck chick starter in Bow from Harley.
Gabe's chicks + 1 conceded to Lydia out of brotherly love.  Lydia claims the Speckled Sussex with the dark brown accents.  Her name is Victoria.
