Family Thanksgiving - Feast for the Eyes

Thanksgiving weekend all six sibling families with Mom and Dad celebrated together.  With cousin Audrie family up from Portland, we made 40, and Megan so graciously and beautifully hosted.  Meg and the girls filled the farmhouse with lavish tables complete with name cards and sharpened new pencils to write our thanks.

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day we had a morning service at our little Mt Adams Baptist church, giving thanks with music, message, and testimonies of our Lord's faithfulness.  Seth, David, and Meg families had family dinners with their other halves' family reunions.  Caleb family, Luke family, and Mom and Dad came to my little house for a simple feast and enjoyed an evening by our fire.  It was a sweet time.  A few photos made the cut.
Pumpkin custard in ramekins from the garden pumpkins.
A North Whidbey Farm Turkey slow cooked in the Traeger with garden pumpkins pralined, garden salad, and fresh cranberries.  We also had mashed turnips, garden green bean casserole, and gravy.  Simply a feast.

Montanan's Birthdays

All the family gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving.  David came with his Montana family and we celebrated him and his two sons on his birthday.  Virgil and Russel were born on the same day within a week of David's birthday.
