The days of summer prolonged and staved the night frosts. The tomatoes ripened on the vine, and the garden produced melons!

| Gargantuan Zucchinis and Cucumbers |

| Bridget held a fermenting class! Garden beets in 1/2 inch cubes filling 1/3 of the 1/2 gallon jar, 1 T sea salt and water to the very top. Gently rock jar daily and ferment on the counter for a week. |
