Gabe spent the day enjoying the sun. I didn't have the heart to call him in. He coaxed Lydia out early for baseball, soccer, chicken herding, sorting the household trash for me, rope swinging from the willow, and much more.

Planted herb starts and primroses in every pot I had last week to protect them from freezing or drying out in their little black starter packs while I was gone. Couldn't wait to have something alive and growing!
