Gabe has been enthralled with remote control boats for two and a half years since waiting his turn to captain one at the state home-school convention. "Santa" saw this vessel on clearance last year and knew whose name to put on it. This was Gabe's second cruise with it. We had nearly given up on a safe launch point yesterday afternoon, but then realized the new city fountain we had come upon last week was the perfect answer to the day's dilemma. It was fifteen minutes of complete fulfillment for Gabe in the gathering dusk.
