Green Herbs

I watch my garden grow, although I did not sow the seed.  Another Sower, sows, waters, tends.  He works according to His good purpose.  I have not yet learned to harvest or use these treasures.  But I am beginning to recognize the leaves for healing.  I delight in the outward sign that He knows our need before we do, and has foreshadowed His every provision.

Comfrey - The Knit Bone herb

Plantain - most useful weed for drawing out toxicity, purifying, and healing.

Yarrow- antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and astringent.  Stops bleeding too.

Mullein - antispasmodic and expectorant.

Mullein blossom in olive oil for a ear ache - fighting infection and reducing pain.

Marshmallow- for inflamed tissues.
