Crazy for Tulips
Hope you enjoy me transporting you to the tulips... minus cold, wind, and raindrops! Couldn't help but post a line up of these blooming beauties, arrayed finer than Solomon in all their glory, even while those close by have lost their heads and others are holding out for a late bloom.
Tulip Beauty
I told the kids that I'd take them to the tulips. We fit it in today just before a massive rain squall. The cold wind pierced through my skull, giving me a knifing headache. But all was well for the bliss of photographing tulips.
Resurrection Day
Father and son changed out of their festive clothes after a beautiful Sunday message of our risen Lord and His imputed righteousness that gives us life. Then Marshal and Gabe set out to improve the yard before the coming rains.
Sheba and Tigey are learning to tolerate one another. They have to, as both covet their preferred locations with their favorite people. .....Dandelions! We grow them well. I'm against spraying. I'll have to learn to take advantage of their many uses!

Tulip Drive-by
Saturday of Easter weekend was a gorgeous cloudless day in the Skagit Valley. Everyone decided that they had to get out in the first WARM day of sunshine and see the tulips! Thousands poured into the valley off of I-5. We did a drive-by. I told the kids I'd bring them back this week in the rain, without the crowds. Marshal took us to his favorite burger stop and on a drive through the back roads of the county.

Minor AA Little Leage
Gabe is back to playing baseball and loving it. Ready position in the outfield. He was back on the pitcher's mound last week for two innings. He threw some good strikes, got one out on first, and hit three batters at the plate, who proceeded to steal home!
