Finding a Cave |
Nothing like going down into a cave on Good Friday to reflect on and worship the One who was laid in a new tomb, cut in the rock. Matthew 27:60, The One who "suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, in which he went and proclaimed or preached to the spirits in prison...." I Peter 3:18-22
This cave held dark chambers. We turned out our lights and sang to the Light of the World that overcame this present darkness. "Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see decay." Psalm 16:9-10
I've heard others speak of "rapture holes" in the clouds. This cave had some big rapture holes. "For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his." Romans 6:5
