| Cold snowy day. We live in the banana belt or at least in a rain shadow, getting the mildest hit and always the least amount of precipitation of everyone else. Kids were happy to have just enough to have a good time in. |

| Got my toe in it! Actually crunched around in it yesterday afternoon before the sun went down, helping Gabe haul some firewood in the crisp cold air. |

| This puts "banana belt" in perspective. Don't think we'll be growing any bananas here. The kids are looking at the tropical rain forests of the world at this season. |

| Snow fall and icy roads brought and kept Marshal home for the most part the past few days. Kids got a good sledding time in with Dad. Happy family. |
